Fact: Face Seal-style fittings typically rely on standard three-piece swivel caps and plugs to seal the inlets and outlets of their systems.

Additionally, standard caps and plugs are generally combined with standard gaskets containing orifices, necessitating the establishment of a seal in two separate areas. These orifices introduce the potential of the silver/wax lubricant from female nuts entering the system.
