FLAT GASKETS
Hy-Tech’s unpolished flat test gaskets are specifically designed for Face Seal-style fittings. These test gaskets provide a cost-effective solution without lapping or polishing. Available in nickel and stainless steel variants, Hy-Tech unpolished flat gaskets will seal with more tightening than standard products.
SHIPPINGS CAPS & PLUGS
Hy-Tech Shipping Caps and Plugs can be utilized to seal the inlets and outlets of Face Seal-style fittings. By incorporating a flat surface, our Shipping Caps and Plugs protect the integrity of the fittings while only requiring a single seal.
GROOVED GASKETS
When assembling high-purity gas and fluid delivery systems, standard VCR-style face seal fittings have a tendency to over-tighten and potentially cause leaks. Hy-Tech’s Grooved Gaskets prevent over-tightening while providing effective leak resistance. Incidentally, our Grooved Gaskets reduce the risk of work hardening, further reducing leaks while extending the longevity of the parts.
ANTI-TORQUE RINGS
During the assembly of high-purity gas and fluid delivery systems, conventional Face Seal-style fittings often experience rotary-action transfer, rotating the nut and the gland/gasket, leading to fitting failures. This is typically caused by the female nut losing its coating and inducing stainless-to-stainless contact, leading to many problems. Hy-Tech’s Anti-Torque Rings reduce or eliminate rotary action, preventing fitting malfunctions while elevating system performance. Our Anti-Torque Rings are cost-effective, safe, and easy to install
